A Legacy Built Over Time

Heritage Builders didn’t begin as a strategy. It began as a way of life passed down through a family that believed faith, leadership, and responsibility were meant to be lived out in service to others.

Todd’s parents gave their lives to that. What they built wasn’t an organization. It was a heritage. And that heritage has been entrusted to the next generation.

My story began
at fifteen

My first mission trip was to an orphanage in Maïssade, Haiti. No cell phones. No internet. No electricity or running water in the mountains. Just real people, real needs, and no filter between me and what the world actually looked like outside my own life.

Over the next five years, that took me to Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico. Back home, I was also showing up locally at feeding programs in Atlantic City and Philadelphia’s Tasker Project, one of the most challenging urban environments in the country.

That window of time shaped me in ways school never could. I wasn’t just learning about needs. I was sitting in it, walking through it, building relationships inside of it. By the time those years were behind me, I knew my life would involve helping people. Locally and globally. That wasn’t a plan. It was a calling that had already found me.

Thirty Years of Showing Up

What started in those early years never stopped. For over three decades, this work has included leadership development, community partnerships, and relationships built across the United States and in more than a dozen countries.

From inner cities to international environments, the focus has remained the same. Strengthen people. Strengthen families. Strengthen communities.

None of the projects connected to Heritage Builders began online. They were built through conversations, site visits, travel, shared meals, problem solving, and time spent walking alongside people through real challenges. Some of these relationships go back twenty and thirty years. That history is what allows us to connect people, vision, and resources with care and integrity.

Why Business Leaders?

Over time, one truth became clear. The people best positioned to create lasting change are often builders. Entrepreneurs. Leaders with platforms, resources, and influence.

When that is aligned with purpose, their leadership extends far beyond their own success and begins shaping families, communities, and future generations.
